RULES & MOVEMENT STANDARDS

RULES
The athlete will select one weight for the entire workout. The score for the workout is total reps x weight. If an athlete fails to complete the required reps in a minute all the reps for that minute will not count towards the final score.

BUY-IN MOVEMENT (BOX JUMP)
7 box jumps must be completed each minute before the lifting begins. The athlete must jump and land with 2 feet on the box before visibly extending the hips and knees. Any variation can be used to get off the box.

SNATCH
The snatch can be any variation, power, split or full. The bar must be returned to the floor between every rep. Reps can be full resets or touch and go. For the rep to count the bar must be under control overhead with both feet inline and full extension in knees, hips and elbows.

THRUSTERS
The thruster must begin on the floor, once the first rep has been completed the bar cannot touch the floor until the fourth rep has been completed. Each rep is completed when the athlete reaches full extension of the knee, hip and shoulders with the feet and barbell overhead inline. Each rep must be one fluid movement, a push jerk is not allowed.

CLEANS
The clean can be any variation, power, split or full. The bar must return to the floor between every rep and can be touch and go or full reset. For the rep to count the bar must be under control on the shoulders with both elbows in front of the bar. Both feet must be inline.
